A lot of you have heard me talking about leveling my alt character. I decided to go the non-traditional tanking route and avoid the Orc race as well as the Dragon Knight class. Instead I have chosen to follow this build with my own twists of course. I'll post more thorough information once he is above vet level and I can say one way or the other how the build works for me personally and how it could work for follow guildies in the future! For now check out the link from the Tamriel Foundry website where I located this interesting build!
The Tankplar Build:

After doing a lot of Fungal Grotto grinding with Psijic Ambrosia aiding my cause, I have leveled my Tankplar up to about 41 and so far I could see this build working out in vet dungeons with little issues as long as I can get a few other key abilities unlocked.
This build seems to be all about the group around the tank. It's about fast and furious DPS and burning down mobs and bosses as fast as humanly possible. While the Tankplar doesn't offer quite as much resistance to damage as a traditional Dragon Knight, he brings A LOT more versatility to the table in terms of off-heals and some decent DPS abilities. This build won't be able to survive as long as the DK builds, but with the proper aggro and group DPS all enemies should be dead before the Tankplar has any need to worry.
The build itself is essentially a massive Health dump. By this, I mean all 62 attribute points should be spent on Health and NOTHING else. The abilities will be about a 60/40 split Stamina/Magicka. This means you need to use your glyphs for armor and jewelry to even out your Stam and Magicka pools with a little bit more focus on Stamina. This build is one of the few that benefits most from Regeneration drinks from provisioning. The highest level blue recipes that give Magicka & Stamina Regen are the Tankplar's best friend.
Champion points should be spent on reduction costs, blocking/absorbing points and even some resistances can be helpful. Check the link for some of the actual names of Champion skills that are helpful as I'm drawing a blank currently.
Overall this build is viable in my personal opinion for both PvE and PvP content with the right ability adjustments. You may struggle if your group composition is on the weaker side especially if the group is lacking DPS, otherwise there should be no issues running the Tankplar through vet dungeons and DSA. The Tankplar is hardy enough to survive longer battles in Cyrodiil while having the option to still deal some decent damage.
More updates to come as I level this build!
