Not too shabby guys, I like quite a few of these ideas. I'll talk with Del about it and some of the other higher ups and we'll have to make some concrete decisions before we start telling everyone the different ideas. Del and I can work out a general system that can try and include most of these ideas and then write it out and post the guidelines in the forums, on the Twitch Page and also in the MotD for at least a little while. MotD only has so many characters you can use I believe so we will try and iron out a solid way to do this stuff.

Del and I both have the ability to stream it from our PCs as well, if he and I can setup our OBS frames specifically for the lotto drawing streams we could both have uniform streams when we do it regardless if it's him or me streaming. Plus you guys can see our awesome faces live! (Well with a 25 second delay haha)

Yeah and if people miss the stream you can just archive it and upload it to the forums for everyone to view

What about instead of giving the full pot, with bonus items, a trade out system.
Say the pot is 100k for the grand winner, say they can actually trade some or all of the gold for like nirncrux, making their pot 50k and a nirncrux, and the amount traded out goes directly into the guild bank, meaning the bank gets the 20% of the total pot, and whatever they decide to trade in for items.
Sorry guys, I'm horrible at brainstorming.
I'm all for the grind loot/gold goes to the bank idea, I would love to do that. It would be me contributing to the guild more and it would also help non VR14 members get some EXP along the way too.

Interesting idea Proto, that could potentially help the gold situation in the bank A LOT of we did it that way. Hmm a lot of ideas to think about today. Once I hear from Del we'll start coming up with something solid to go off of.

I like the guildie of the week thing. Promote them to a special rank to recognize how much effort they've put in? As I've heard through chat some people really love working for a title. I'm not sure if/what the benefits could be, but the title and maybe one extra permission would help get some people active.

I'll add some info here to the forums in the coming week regarding ranks and such. Just tonight, I added a "Page" rank that is BEFORE Chamberlain. A Page in history is typically a young boy who is training to become a squire and eventually a knight. They are essentially a little bitch boy to put it lightly lol. This will be the new "Do not delete this person" rank, and everything above it is based off of guild activity.
Regarding the guild lotto: I may have to knock the tickets back down to 1k a piece. Buying 20k worth of tickets a week for a 5/125 chance to win is a bit much and I've had multiple inputs regarding it tonight.
I think a raffle is a great idea! We will have to give someone else the responsibility of holding onto the gear and/or making a mule character for this as I can say I won't have the time to do it with everything else that I already deal with. Me and soco will get together some night to brainstorm on that and update everyone through the forums and MotD.
I love the idea of a Member Of The Week! Officers and above would obviously be excluded from this one, but it'd be a great way to show that we see what is going on.
The best way I can think to do this would be for me to post sticky thread in the main forum. The first thread would be me explaining the basic rules. Everyone can nominate 1 player. Everyone can have 3 thumbs ups. When you see the guides name, you either like or ignore the post.
Example: Post 1: Rules and formatting
Post 2: "Rhinomite (Why, 1 sentence limit) Rhino has been very active and blah blah and I think he deserves it."
Anyone viewing the forums can like only 3 times on the submissions. If they like more because they're trolling, I ignore all of their votes.
This would also be a really good way to promote the forums.
The downside is that it can show favoritism. Say soco chooses scenekid and I'm like really sad about it, there could be an issue. I don't think we'd truly have to worry about it. The other option for this is that we have an officers meeting to discuss who it should be.
And a final note, we should probably start having weekly officer meetings now that it's not just me and soco running the show. We have a loose vision of how we want this guild to be ran. The basis of don't be a jackass to fellow players just because they're new and to help others out. When it comes to the guild format for ranks, rewards, promotions etc etc etc...we are a community. Even if a level 32 player who has only been in guild chat a few times comes to me with ideas for the guild, I am not going to brush them off and I will value their input.

Yea Del a lot of these ideas could easily be put into practice. I think the lotto idea adding more prizes would be good. Like some of them were saying, adding a few more drawings to the Sunday lotto would make people want to buy the most tickets possible. With that being said, we could drop the ticket price down to 1,000g for sure. It would be nice to have at least 3 drawings on Sunday's. The last drawing would obviously be the main pot. As far as guildie of the week or whatever we would decide I think it should honestly start as a consensus officers decision. If we are going to start doing a weekly officers meeting that would be the perfect time to discuss a guildie of the week. We could eventually move the nominations to the forums and let the rest of the guild decide, but right now with the limited number of people on the forums I think between all the officers knowledge it would result in a more accurate choice for the time being. Coming back to the lotto and creating a mule character to hold everything, I would definitely be willing to hold onto the lotto pot as well as the bonus prizes (crux, frames, motifs etc). I have an alt already from DC that I could easily transfer things around with. This week has obviously been a trial run of the lotto so starting this coming Monday we will solidify a new system for the lotto including the multiple drawings and reduced ticket cost. However, Del and I will need all the officers and/or higher ranked players to really step up a little extra and help with gathering the bonus prizes to then stock pile for future lotto drawings. All these ideas are great guys! Keep them coming. Remember it will take us some time to get any new ideas into place and working smoothly but once we find the right system and flow to add these new ideas it should all become routine

Me & SoCo had a long...hard chat about the lotto/raffle over the past few hours.
That being said, we have decided to take a route that requires a little more effort on our part to keep things cheap and practical all while allowing the guild bank to actually turn a reasonable profit for our weekly guild trader.
We are going to continue this week's 80/20 lotto, but after this week we will turn our eyes towards a 50/50 raffle. I will post a seperate thread here shortly and update this post with the link regarding the way it works. We've put in about 8 hours of thought towards this and how it's going to work, so this will be essentially be the final form of what we are doing. As always, suggestions will be considered.

I can see why it would be officers deciding but I do like the idea of nominations or at least suggestions (I.e you don't have to chose from nominations, but maybe listen to suggestions). Basically, a simple thread like you mentioned Del, where we have the opportunity to share if someone did something really awesome that week that officers may not know about (like "soandso gave me all these motifs and made me a weapon!!!"). Obviously you guys can't be there 24/7, all though it is pretty close..... Getting a little public recognition is a great way to encourage people to help out. Plus it gives people the ability to formally thank someone that made a lasting impact on them (and join the forums!).
